The ACAS 2025 (10th Asian Cardiac Arrhythmia Summit) and the 16th China Cardiac Arrhythmia Summit (CCAS) were successfully held in Shenzhen from February 21 to 23, 2025. Organized by the AHRA (Asian Heart Rhythm Association), the event brought together over 1,200 leading physicians and scholars from nearly 30 countries across Asia, Europe, and the Americas for academic exchange. On February 23, a special session focused on arrhythmias and syncope explored the relationship between autonomic nervous function and cardiac rhythm. Experts discussed the latest advancements in using autonomic regulation to treat syncope and shared their practical clinical experiences.
The conference was opened and chaired by Professor Zheng Lihui from the Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Scholars and experts from across China presented on a variety of topics, including cardiac vagus ganglion ablation for vasovagal syncope, cardiac sympathectomy for ventricular arrhythmias, renal artery ablation for hypertension, cardioneuroablation assisted by high frequency electrical stimulation via jugular vein, and common neuromodulation techniques. The comprehensive content of the sessions sparked engaging discussions, deepening attendees' understanding of the relationship between autonomic nervous function and cardiac rhythm, while offering valuable insights for clinical practice.
