From February 21 to February 23, 2025, the 10th Asia Cardiac Arrhythmia Summit (ACAS 2025) and the 16th China Cardiac Arrhythmia Summit (CCAS 2025) were successfully held in Shenzhen, China. To promote the development of pediatric electrophysiology in China and improve the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric arrhythmias, the ACAS&CCAS Pediatric Arrhythmia Forum was held on February 22. This meeting brought together more than 30 scholars and clinical doctors from 16 hospitals across the country to discuss issues related to pediatric arrhythmias.
The conference was started with an address by Professor Li Fen from Shanghai Children's Medical Center. Professor Li Fen first extended a sincere welcome and gratitude to the attending experts and scholars. He emphasized the importance of pediatric arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment, noting that every child is a family's future and that the special nature of pediatric arrhythmia surgery requires doctors to remain highly cautious and professional during the diagnostic and treatment processes.
Professor Li further highlighted the significant progress and achievements in the field of pediatric arrhythmias in recent years. He pointed out that there is a huge demand from patients and increasing attention from the market to this important field. He urged everyone to seize the opportunity and continue their efforts to advance the field. Finally, Professor Li expressed gratitude to Professor Gao Lu from the National Center for Children's Medicine and Beijing Children's Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University for his contributions to the organization of the meeting and extended his best wishes for the forum's success.
Subsequently, experts and scholars from across the country delivered wonderful academic reports on various topics in the field of pediatric arrhythmias. Each expert conducted in - depth discussions based on their research findings, clinical cases, and treatment plans. The content was detailed and presented in an accessible manner. On - site doctors actively asked questions and had lively discussions with the experts on topics such as prevention and treatment strategies for pediatric arrhythmias, optimizing treatment plans, and improving the quality of life for patients.

During the first half of the forum, Professors Shi Lin, Lv Tiewei, and Wang Juanli, who have extensive experience in pediatrics, served as moderators. Professor Zeng Shaoying from Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital shared the treatment experience of 2 children with complete right bundle branch block (QRS≥160ms). Professor Wu Jinjin from Shanghai Children's Medical Center shared the arrhythmias after congenital heart surgery, mainly discussing the arrhythmias related to tetralogy of Fallot. Professor Dai Chencheng from Beijing Anzhen Hospital shared the application of left bundle branch pacing in pediatrics based on his clinical experience in recent years. Professor Yin Jie from Nanjing Children's Hospital shared the experience of drug and ablation treatment for left posterior fascicular ventricular tachycardia in children and some doubts in clinical practice. Professor Yu Xia from Beijing Children's Hospital reported on the complications of pediatric radiofrequency ablation based on the diagnosis and treatment situation of her center over the past 20 years.

The second half of the forum was chaired by four pediatric cardiovascular experts, Professors Deng Jiegang, Peng Hua, Ji Wei, and Wu Rongzhou. Professor Liu Fuqiang from West China Second University Hospital, Sichuan University, shared the content related to radiofrequency ablation and coronary artery injury. Professor Lin Yao from the Capital Institute of Pediatrics shared a case of radiofrequency ablation of ventricular premature beats in the summit area of a child. Professor Wang Fangjie from Henan Children's Hospital shared a case of treating pediatric junctional tachycardia with ivabradine. Professor Zhou Wanping from the Children's Hospital of Soochow University shared her experience in ablating pediatric atrial tachycardia. Professor Gao Minglei from the Dalian Women and Children's Medical Center (Group) shared a case of converting an epicardial pacemaker to an endocardial pacemaker and removing the electrode. Professor Zhang Dahai from Anhui Provincial Children's Hospital shared his experience in transseptal puncture based on anatomical knowledge.
This conference provided valuable learning opportunities for the participants and further promoted the academic development in the field of pediatric arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment. During the discussions, participants actively exchanged ideas and gained rich insights. It is hoped that in the future, everyone will continue to work together and contribute more to the development of pediatric arrhythmia care.
