The 10th Asia Cardiac Arrhythmia Summit and the 16th China Cardiac Arrhythmia Summit, hosted by the Asian Heart Rhythm Association (AHRA), have been successfully held from February 21 to February 23, 2025 in Shenzhen, China. The "China New Original" forum is a new feature of this summit, aiming to showcase new advancements and original research in the field of arrhythmia in China, and to promote innovation and application in arrhythmia treatment.

Prof. Yu Liu from Wuhan University People's Hospital presented research on the prevention of recurrence (SS-AFRF) after radiofrequency ablation in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation using Cansong Yangxin Capsules; Prof. Song Zuo from Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University, shared experiences on the efficacy and durability of VOM alcohol ablation in reconnection after bidirectional block of the mitral isthmus; Dr. Zi'ang Yang from Prof. Wei Feng's team at Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, shared research on partial cardiac denervation to prevent postoperative atrial fibrillation (pCAD-POAF) after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG); Prof. Xu Liu from Shanghai Chest Hospital shared the impact of immediate termination during persistent atrial fibrillation ablation on prognosis; Dr. Caijie Shen from Prof. Huimin Chu’s team at Ningbo University First Hospital shared research on optimizing strategies for left atrial appendage occlusion and catheter ablation combined surgery in atrial fibrillation patients (COMBINATION).

Dr. Le Li from Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, shared research on targeted surrounding reinforcement ablation to reduce recurrence after outflow tract ventricular premature beat ablation; Dr. Lishui Shen from Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital shared experiences on catheter ablation treatment and its prognostic impact in patients with arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy involving both ventricles; Dr. Jing Yang from Tsinghua University-affiliated Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital shared research on the use of T-wave alternans measured by 24-hour Holter ECG as a risk stratification marker for patients with long QT syndrome; Prof. Cheng Wang from Shanghai Chest Hospital shared his experience on the prognosis and management of pulmonary vein stenosis (ISR) after PVI surgery; Dr. Xi Wang from West China Hospital, Sichuan University, shared research comparing the long-term clinical outcomes of left bundle branch pacing versus traditional right ventricular pacing after TAVI.

In conclusion, forum chairman Prof. Tong Liu expressed gratitude to all the experts and scholars for their contributions, encouraged participants to expand their thinking, focus on research, fully utilize relevant resources in line with local medical conditions, and further develop original research in the field of arrhythmia, promoting innovative development in the field of arrhythmia in China.
